Warren Talbot Beckwith, Joint Chairman
Mr. Beckwith has been a professional accountant for over 50 years. Mr. Beckwith provides
consulting services to clients on cross border investments between the PRC and Australia. He has
extensive business management experience in Australia, London and Hong Kong in various
industries, including mining, petroleum, property investment and technology development.
Between 1974 and 1978, Mr. Beckwith was the senior partner of a “big four” accounting firm in
Hong Kong. He returned to his native Australia in 1979 and has since achieved many successes in
venture capital investments and corporate finance advisory projects.
Mr. Beckwith is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, the Hong Kong
Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the
Taxation Institute of Australia. Mr. Beckwith held directorships and/or executive positions in
public companies listed on stock exchanges in Australia and Hong Kong.
Kwan Kai Cheong, Joint Chairman

Mr. Kwan has been a professional accountant for over 40 years. In addition to serving his audit and accounting clients, Mr. Kwan also provides consulting services on corporate compliance, financial management, and cross border investments between Hong Kong and the PRC. He actively participates in the corporate governance affairs of the business community. He is an independent non-executive director of a number of listed companies.
Mr. Kwan served in various positions with Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc from 1982 to 1993, the last being
President of the Asia Pacific region. He joined the Concord Group in 1993 and retired from the
group in 2002 as Joint Managing Director.
Mr. Kwan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Hong Kong
Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of
Directors. Mr. Kwan completed the Stanford Executive Program in 1992.
Mrs. Susan Yip, Managing Director

Mrs. Yip has been a professional accountant for 38 years, with a depth of experience in audit and
corporate assurance, financial and business management, and corporate finance projects.
Between 1992 and 2001, Mrs. Yip oversaw the financial affairs of a listed group as its General Manager – Finance with geographical coverage included Hong Kong, the PRC and Thailand. Her duties extended to special corporate finance projects such as spin off of a property group, injection of an oil refinery / distribution business, Convertible Bonds issue, GEM (Growth Enterprise Market) listing.
Between 1985 and 1991, Mrs. Yip had a successful career with a “big four” firm of public accountants. Mrs. Yip is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In 1985, she qualified as Chartered Accountant (England & Wales) with an international firm in London. In 1982, Mrs. Yip qualified as an Associate Member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
Mr. Julian Liew, Principal, Corporate Services

Mr. Julian Liew is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) and brings to the firm decades of experience in assurance, IT and business consulting, corporate services, coaching and training.
Prior to joining Morrison, Julian was an Assistant Professor in accountancy, cultivated future accountants and business professionals and selflessly offered coaching support to start-ups of alumni and friends.
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand in 1985 with the late Sir Tennant Wilson, Julian then worked in a “big four” firm for 6 years, in New Zealand and afterwards in 1987 posted to Hong Kong. He took up financial controllership for 7 years at a major Hong Kong corporation. In 1997 Julian extended his career internationally to lend his expertise for 8 years in IT and business management, as a Greater China Director of a “big four” linked consulting firm and senior consultant of specialist firms in China and the US before venturing into the academia in 2005.
Throughout the past four decades, Mr. Liew trekked energetically across New Zealand, Australia, America, China mainland and Hong Kong in helping corporate clients and young individuals alike.
